As our 4.1 term is gradually coming to an end, today (12/05/26) was the last class of the Natural Resources Management course with Sumya Naz Dhew Ma’am for the URP-22 batch.

It is difficult to express how beautifully and sincerely Ma’am completed this journey with us. Her dedication to maintaining time, completing every topic properly, and ensuring a disciplined yet comfortable learning environment truly deserves appreciation. Along with her excellent teaching, her respectful and caring behavior towards every student made the course even more meaningful for us.

We not only learned from her lectures but also admired her professionalism, sincerity, and positive attitude throughout the term.

We are deeply grateful for all the effort, patience, and guidance she provided during this course. Thank you, Ma’am, for making our learning experience so valuable and memorable.

Some classes end but their impact stays with us forever.

Today, we shared our final lecture of “Legal Aspects and Ethics of Planning” with our respected Professor Mursalin Mamun Sir. His words went beyond the syllabus guiding, inspiring, and reminding us of the responsibility we carry as future planners.

As we step toward our term finals, we carry his motivation, his wisdom, and a sense of gratitude that words can hardly capture.

Successfully concluded: “Our Talk 3.0” organized by URP-22, Khulna University

Today wasn’t just about presentations, it was about passing experience forward.

URP-22 had the opportunity to sit with our juniors (URP-25 & 26) and share the real side of this journey- the mistakes we made, the lessons we learned, and the things we wish we knew earlier.

One question might come, “why did so many of us speak?”

Because every journey is different.
Not just the big achievements, but even the small, normal, everyday experiences matter.
We believe,sometimes the simplest advice from different people can create the biggest impact.
That’s why we chose to let everyone share, even in small ways.

If even one of them can avoid a mistake or make a better decision because of this session,
then this small initiative has already created its impact.

A heartfelt thanks to everyone who contributed to organizing this session and to all the participants for their presence, engagement, and thoughtful discussions.

Where plans meet power URP 22 - Iniciativo explored the operational core of regional governance at the Khulna Divisional Commissioner’s Office through our Regional Planning sessional tour.

On this sessional tour at the Khulna Divisional Commissioner's Office gave us a practical understanding of how regional working mechanisms operate beyond textbooks.

Through an engaging session with Mohammad Nazmul Haque (Acting Divisional Commissioner) and Abu Sayeed Md. Manjur Alam (Additional Divisional Commissioner, General), we explored how regional planning is implemented through coordination between different administrative tiers, sectoral departments, and local stakeholders.They revealed how priorities are not just planned but negotiated and executed within real institutional dynamics.

The discussion highlighted how projects like Gollamari Bridge are not only infrastructure developments but also outcomes of continuous interaction between government bodies and local communities. It also showed how decisions flow from higher authorities to local levels and how feedback from the ground shapes those decisions.

With the guidance of Fawzia Farzana ma’am, we realized that Regional planning is not just about designing space but managing relationships, resources, and responsibilities across multiple levels.

A journey that became a memory we will carry forever 🤎

During our 3.1 term, our study tour under the course Urban Design and Conservation was not just about visiting places it was about learning, exploring and spending some of the best moments together. With the guidance of our respected teachers Dr. Tanjil Sowgat Sir and Dr.Shilpi Roy Mam,we visited Mohasthangarh, Vasu Bihar, Paharpur and Gokul Medh. At every place, Sir explained the history so simply and beautifully that it helped us understand beyond the books.

RDA will also be remembered for giving us a place to stay and moments to cherish together.

We learned a lot, we laughed a lot and we enjoyed every moment. Now, when we look back, it makes us feel a little nostalgic but also very grateful for such a beautiful experience together.

Some memories never fade and this is definitely one of them. 🤍
