Well here it is!
It took longer then we expected to get all the right parts in order, but in the end we're proud of what's coming...

It is with sadness that we announce that after 5 long years, Club LED Newcastle will cease in it's current form.

This wasn't a decision we've made lightly, as we've always been a big supporter of the Newcastle heavy music scene.
But after some distasteful situations over the last few months, with attempted thefts from bands and support staff, and the stupid decision of bands and punters to bring outside liquor into a licensed premise, our reputation within the community and with the venue that has supported us so much in the last 5 years has been irrevocably damaged and it was a decision that had to be made.

Over the last 5 years we've held close to a hundred shows in some form, and worked with some of Australia's greatest bands, as well as many from overseas, and we wish to thank each and every person who has supported us through the good times and the bad.

We'd like to send a special thank you to Russel at RPM Audio, Greg & Tim at Lights In Production, and all the amazing staff from the Newcastle District Tennis Club, who have all stuck with us from the beginning.

This may be the last you hear from Club LED Newcastle, but it definitely won't be the last you hear from some of us here.

Rest assured that we will be launching something new in 2015, to further support the Newcastle heavy music scene that we love so much.
