What a weekend at The Big Chill Festival — smoke, fire, laughs, late nights, and some seriously good BBQ 💪🔥

From loaded potato skins to brisket, pork, lamb, chicken, and ribs… we threw everything we had at it and had an absolute blast doing it 😎

We learnt a lot, ate well, barely slept, and somehow survived entirely on BBQ and caffeine 😂☕🥩

Injected overnight with JD & apple juice, then hit with Smokey Joe's Cajun + Mojo rubs before being glazed in a rich whisky BBQ sauce 🥃🔥

At this point this pig didn’t just get cooked… it got a full personality upgrade 😂🐷

Bold, smoky, slightly rowdy, and definitely not here to behave 🤝🔥

Day 2 kicked off chilly and foggy at The Big Chill Festival — the kind of weather where you can see your breath and need the heat from the pits to wake you up🔥

BBQ teams everywhere were already rolling smoke, running on coffee and competition energy 😂☕

Fires rolling, meats cooking, and another full day of competition ahead 💪🔥

Cold air, hot coals, good people — exactly what comp weekends are all about 🤝

Ember Elixir took a traditional family recipe and gave it a modern BBQ twist at The Big Chill Festival 😎🔥

Our loaded potato skins were built using 5 techniques — roast, mash, fry, pipe, and smoke — turning comfort food into a full competition entry 💪🥔🔥

A recipe passed down, reimagined, and sent into the comp judges… and it landed us 10th place 🤝🥔

Not bad for something that started at a family table 😏🔥

Hit with a Smokey Joe's Tuscan rub, wine-jected with red wine 🍷, then topped in a mint BBQ sauce that’s basically got it saying “herd me out…” 😂🌿

A proper wolf in sheep’s clothing situation — except this one got smoked, glazed, and absolutely roasted socially 🐺🐑

Honestly, these potatoes have had more work done than a reality TV star 😂🔥

Crispy, creamy, smoky, crunchy — all packed into one hand-in box and sent straight to the judges 🤝
