At the 2026 Mr Chilli Awards, Smokey Joe’s Rubs picked up another five awards across our sauces and seasonings:

🥇 1st Place Sticky Raspberry Chipotle BBQ Sauce

🥈 2nd Place Firecracker Loaded Salt

🥈 2nd Place Hotter Than Hell Hot Sauce

🥉 3rd Place Flaming Hot BBQ Sauce

🥉 3rd Place N Sour Pineapple Wing Sauce

🏁🔥 Big Chill Festival – Final Results 🔥🏁

What a weekend at The Big Chill Festival — smoke, fire, laughs, late nights, and some seriously good BBQ 💪🔥

From loaded potato skins to brisket, pork, lamb, chicken, and ribs… we threw everything we had at it and had an absolute blast doing it 😎

We learnt a lot, ate well, barely slept, and somehow survived entirely on BBQ and caffeine 😂☕🥩

Already keen for the next one — we go again 🔥

SPG, espresso, Texan rub by Smokey Joe's and a red wine BBQ glaze 🍷☕🔥 — basically a flavour stack that should come with a warning label 😂🤝

It’s smoky, it’s bold, and it’s got that “don’t ask questions, just eat it” energy 😏🔥

🐖🔥 Pork shoulder hand-in… big pig energy 🔥🐖

Ember Elixir rolling into The Big Chill Festival with a shoulder that’s been living its best life 😎🔥

Injected overnight with JD & apple juice, then hit with Smokey Joe's Cajun + Mojo rubs before being glazed in a rich whisky BBQ sauce 🥃🔥

At this point this pig didn’t just get cooked… it got a full personality upgrade 😂🐷

Bold, smoky, slightly rowdy, and definitely not here to behave 🤝🔥

Hand-in done — now we let the judges wrestle with this one 😏

Ember Elixir back at it The Big Chill Festival with ribs that didn’t come to play 😎🔥

Injected with JD & apple juice, left to settle overnight, then hit with Smokey Joe's Rubs Mojo + Sweet Beets rubs and finished with a bold pomegranate BBQ glaze 🍎🥃🌿🔥

Sticky, glossy, and looking like this pig definitely didn’t stick to its diet 😂🐷🤝

Sweet, tangy, smoky — basically a full personality in rib form 😏

Hand-in done — now we let the judges deal with the temptation 🔥

Ember Elixir stepping up at The Big Chill Festival with chicken wings and breast bringing the flavour 😎🔥

Seasoned with Smokey Joe's Honey Hog and Rooster Rub, then coated in a sweet & tangy BBQ sauce that had these chickens looking way too confident 😂🍯🔥

Sticky, smoky, and packed with flavour — the kind of combo that makes you lick your fingers and immediately regret wearing black 🤝🍗

Hand-in done — now we sit back and let the birds do the talking 😏🔥

🌫️🔥 Foggy morning, fiery intentions 🔥🌫️

Day 2 kicked off chilly and foggy at The Big Chill Festival — the kind of weather where you can see your breath and need the heat from the pits to wake you up🔥

BBQ teams everywhere were already rolling smoke, running on coffee and competition energy 😂☕

Fires rolling, meats cooking, and another full day of competition ahead 💪🔥

Cold air, hot coals, good people — exactly what comp weekends are all about 🤝
